- The boyband Boyz from da 'Burbs is probably a reference to both the boyband The Backstreet Boys and the film Boyz n the Hood.
- Their song I Want It That Way with my Vida Loca Genie in a Bottle One More Time is a reference to I Want It That Way, Livin' la Vida Loca, Genie in a Bottle and ...Baby One More Time by The Backstreet Boys, Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears respectively.
