Daphne Burns is Mr. Burns' mother. She is 122 years old. She was married to Clifford Burns , with whom she had Mr. Burns. She had an affair with president Taft in the 20s. Since she is so old, she has limited capacities. All she can do is dial a phone and yell. She first appeared in a flashback in Rosebud, and again as an old woman in Homer the Smithers.
