The Bogey Man is a comic story in Simpsons Comics #63. It was released in October 2001.
Plot
Mr. Burns wants to build a golf course in the Springfield Natural Preserve. The Springfield Environmental Review Board does not protest the destruction of the protected forest due to bribes from Burns. Lisa and a scout group she is a part of called the Li'l Chickadees protests the plans. Although Mr. Burns is about to release the hounds on them, he retreats and later reveals to Smithers that he himself is a member of the Chickadees, although in his youth the group was called The Legion of the Hooded Falcon and the focus was on killing and skinning.
