Comic Story information
|
Prize Possession is a Bart Simpson story that appears in Bart Simpson #9.
Plot
Bart becomes interested in a mail-in offer from his Radioactive Man cereal where, for $2.00 and a coupon from the box, he could obtain a Radioactive Man Space Action Figure. Bart spends the next few days pestering Homer for the money until Homer, having forgotten why Bart was pestering him, finally gives in. Marge protests that Bart is likely just going to forget about the toy once he gets it, and never play with it again, but Homer gives Bart the money anyways.
After 90 days of waiting, the action figure finally arrives. Bart opens the package in his room and, as he marvels at his new figure, Marge calls him down for breakfast. Hoping that there might be another mail-in in his new cereal, Bart tosses the action figure aside and rushes downstairs.
