The media at first paid a lot of attention to the family, but then a woman in [[Shelbyville]] gave birth to nine children. Unable to afford all of their kids, Apu and Manjula allowed [[Larry Kidkill]] to display them in a zoo in exchange for full care of them. In the end, they decided that what they were doing was wrong and got them back.
