Synopsis
- "Scotty Boom, a Chew Network super-chef, challenges Homer to a smoke-off. But when someone steals Homer's secret weapon – a smoker he bought off a mysterious man at a BBQ shack – Lisa and Bart are on the case."
Plot
The Simpsons' friends and co-workers start calling them "Stink-sons" because of a bad odor each family member is giving off. Marge sends Homer to buy a new washing machine to replace to mold covered old one, but Homer gets distracted by a man at the side of the road grilling meats. Homer uses the washing machine money to buy the special Honeycomb grill from the man (who soon dies). Homer's grill cooking soon becomes popular across the town and he attracts the attention of a TV chef called Scotty Boom who challenges Homer to a cook-off. Next morning the Honeycomb grill is missing, after the police hit a dead-end, Homer gives up hope. Bart and Lisa start investigating and soon find out that Nelson stole the grill for a mystery person, after failing to actually retrieve the grill Bart and Lisa give up too. Marge decides to take Homer's place in the cook-off. At the cook-off, Boom's entry is seemingly grilled in the same way as meat cooked on the Honeycomb and Boom is arrested, however Bart and Lisa spot the mystery person and chase him, Homer trips him up and he is revealed to be Scotty Boom's son Tyler Boom who stole the Simpsons' grill to get his father to shape up as a dad.
