New Girl in Town is a Bart Simpson story that appears in Bart Simpson #75.
Synopsis
Bart and Nelson fight over the new girl in school, but something tells us they are not being sincere.
Plot

Bart and Nelson start fighting to get Janet to go to the dance with them. Nelson shows how strong he is by curling nerds like weights. Martin also tries again and tells her more about his DVD boxset but Bart then shows off his skateboards skills. Nelson shows then how good he is at arm wrestling and Bart gives Janet an extra lunch which do so Nelson gives her the geeks' finished homework.
The school day has ending and at the dinner table is Bart sad for he has no more ideas, Lisa then tells him that Nelson is hard to win over because he had some hidden softness that "some girls" find attractive, she reveals then some secrets about Nelson for Bart.
Next school day telling the morning annoucnment that Nelson sleeps with a teddy bear, Mr. Frou Frou. Nelson becomes then angry and thinks beating down Bart but Janet stops the fight and tell them that she has decided who she want to dance with and asking them both to come to the dance. Nelson and Bart waiting for Janet and argue why Janet would choose just them, after a while she comes with Martin who is her cavalier because she likes Intergalactic Spaceship Quest and he was the only one who had sometime she liked.
Nelson and Bart are surprised because Martin did not need extra credit, he tell them at he now feel more alive. Subsequently, two other nerds, Ham and Database cross them and they dating Sherri and Terri. They laugh at Bart and Nelson because they don't have dates.
Milhouse then walks by and says it's good that Janet is comfortable with the new school for that was what the challenge was about, Bart and Nelson become angry and pushes him away, telling him that he doesn't know anything about girls.
