Lisa in the Middle is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics #89. The comic later got reprinted in Simpsons Comics Hit the Road! and Simpsons Illustrated #9.

Plot

After Lisa is diagnosed with "middle child syndrome", Homer adopts Nelson. Because Nelson is sleeping instead of stealing lunch money, everyone except Lisa gains weight from the school lunches.
