Name and move
The only websites giving the name "Helen Feesh" are us and Simpsons Wikia. There is no source for the name. Therefore, I propose that the page is moved to "Church organist" or "Church organ player". Solar Dragon (Talk • Contribs.) 18:01, 5 June 2012 (EDT)
- I believe it was actually there some time ago. You know, somehow I can imagine Reverend Lovejoy saying "Thank you, Mrs. Feesh". --Wk (talk) 18:03, 5 June 2012 (EDT)
- The episode guide calls her Helen (on the Dancin' Homer page). And Lovejoy calls her Mrs. Feesh in Bart's Inner Child.
Rev. Lovejoy: "Now instead of my boring old sermon, I'm going to take a page from the Book of Bart to do something I've always wanted to do."
(walks over to the organ)
Rev. Lovejoy: "Take five, Mrs. Feesh."
I don't think her name is Helen, for 3 reasons
1) It was Homer who called the organist Helen and Homer has never been good with names (at times he can't even remember the names of his own children. 2) In Bart-Mangled Banner Reverend Lovejoy calls her Martha and in relation to reason 1, I'm sure Reverend Lovejoy knows the real name of the organist in his church (Lovejoy is better with names than Homer). 3) The organist in Dancin' Homer, while she looks similar to Mrs. Feesh she isn't identical, so may be a different woman all together.
