Donut Disturb is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in Simpsons Comics #198.

Synopsis

"The search is on for the newest Lard Lad Donut Kid of the Year is on! Lisa joins the competition to earn college scholarship award, while Bart (with more than a little encouragement from Homer) is in it for the free year's supply of donuts. However, representing Lard Lad Donuts for a whole year may not be all glaze and sprinkles."

Plot

Homer takes the kids to Lard Lad Donuts, where he buys a box of donuts to them so they do not telling Marge that he forgot Maggie at Moe's. Lisa then tells Homer that she does not like donuts and Homer find out at he have misunderstood and thought she like grease instead of Greece. Lisa discovers then a flyer that Maggie holding from Lard Lad Donuts about "Lard Lad Kid of the Year" the winner will receive a year's supply donuts and $ 1,000 in scholarship. Lisa really want the the money but she not like the idea of ​​the contest is about writing about why you love Lard Lad Donuts and Bart wants the donuts but he didn't like the idea about writing. Lisa decides anyway to participate in the contest when se understand at she can pretend that she likes them. Bart decides thus to participate and he take the help from Homer.

A few weeks later has both Bart and Lisa's entries went to the finals and both are confident that they will win. It is time for the final, but then Lisa present her contribution doubt she is in their own contribution and begin to tell you why it is wrong to eat donuts. The audience does not like her contribution but they love Bart's contribution where he act like Homer and he wins. Bart is pleased but it turns out it maybe was not so good idea to win after he is forced to follow the owner Lardley Smith which detriment his schooling. Lardley later decides that Bart will begin to homeschooling and he should not go to school or stay at home anymore. A month later is Bart fatter and he is visiting by Lisa at his new home at the home of Lardley and he enjoys the vegetables as Lisa gives him for he was just eating donuts in a month. Bart tells Lisa that his new job is worse than school and he can not stop working, he need to be fired. Lisa then get an idea how they can get Bart to be fired. Next week inaugurates Bart a new Lard Lad Donuts, but Lard Lad is not holding a donuts, it's a bowl of oatmeal. Lisa telling from the Lard Lad statue why oatmeal is good. This get customers to instead become interested in oatmeal and Bart is fired and Ralph becomes the new Lard Lad Kid of the Year.
