History
In Springfield Elementary, there was a rumor that pressing "E8" on the vending machine would give you an electric shock and kill you. After testing this out, a pack on "Licky Strikes Candy Cigarettes" fell out, which Nelson took and had one, treating it like a proper cigarette, and gave one to another girl. Nelson then becomes addicted to the candy cigarettes.
They were banned as they encouraged smoking.
