George Robert "Bob" Newhart (born September 5, 1929) is an American actor, comedian, and writer. He is best known for starring in two self-titled sitcoms: The Bob Newhart Show, which aired in the 1970s; and Newhart, which aired in the 1980s.

Newhart voiced himself in the season 7 episode "Bart the Fink".
