The Re-Deadening is a horror film about a possessed killer-doll, called Baby Button Eyes, who was not only homicidal herself, but also encouraged others to commit murder. Lenny had a role in the film as one of Baby Button Eye's victims, which he said he got because "The director saw my picture in a medical book."
Homer took Bart and Lisa, and Rod and Todd Flanders, who he was babysitting, to see the movie. Although Homer took a blasé tone, the children were scared to the point of turning away from the screen.
