USMC is an abbreviation for the United States Marine Corps, a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces responsible for providing power projection from the sea. The USMC is also referred to as "the Marines" for short.
History
Homer gets punched in the face on two seperate occassions by the marine guarding the entrance of the American Embassy in Australia.[1]
The bullies steal the "Marine Corps tassels" from Bart's bike.[2]
