Nostradamus: The Man Who Saw the Future is a mockumentary shown during Apocalypse Week on The Learning Network.
History[edit]
When the Simpsons were watching The Learning Network, this was one of the shows to be shown during Apocalypse Week. In the show, narrated by Orson Welles, Welles told the story of Nostradamus' predictions in 1555, all of which came to pass. These predictions included his own death, large wars in Europe and the breakup of Fleetwood Mac. One more prediction, that hadn't happened yet, was that shortly after the anti-Christ became president, a flaming mushroom would spread across the sky. This would signify World War III.
Whilst the Simpson family knew it wasn't real, Mr. Burns got really scared of this and started work on a doomsday ark.
