History

In "...Six Degrees of Homer Simpson ...sort of!" Homer connected U2 to Marcel:

  1. "I spoke at a U2 concert when I ran for the office of Springfield Sanitation Commissioner."
  2. "U2 is from Ireland."
  3. "Ireland is famous for exporting Lucky Charms cereal..."
  4. "...which are hoarderd by a leprechaun, similar to the one from Leprachaun: The Movie"
  5. "Leprechaun: The Movie starred Jennifer Aniston."
  6. "Jennifer Aniston co-starred in Friends with Marcel the monkey."[1]

Non-canon

When Homer tries to lures the Leprechaun into his trap, he first tries to use Trix cereal, which attracts rabbits. When he realizes his mistake, he uses the Lucky Charms and captures an imp, fairy, pixie, hoboglin, nymph, naiad, wood sprite, Katie Couric and a leprechaun.
