Cultural references
- This is the second couch gag done in the style of Robot Chicken, after the one in "The Fabulous Faker Boy".
- The city and the characters from South Park appear.
- In a South Park classic, Homer also kills Kenny, however none of them say "Oh my God! They killed Kenny!" and "...You bastards!" probably due to the fact that Homer kills all of them.
- The California Raisins appear.
- When Homer bites one of The California Raisins, the bite sound from The Flintstones is heard.
- When the skin of one of the Raisins melts away, it has a Terminator skeleton.
- The painting the Simpson family use to replace Scene from Moby Dick is of Girl with a Pearl Earring.
Continuity
- The Nerd is watching the couch gag from "The Fabulous Faker Boy" when Homer enters his room.
Trivia
- This is the second consecutive couch gag in which the sail boat painting is involved. The previous one had Maggie hidden inside the safe behind it.
