The Space Needle is an observation tower and tourist attraction in Seattle, Washington.
History
When Homer was throwing Lisa up in the air in The A-Maize-Ing Maize Maze, she saw the Space Needle.[1]
In the Treehouse of Horror X, the world was coming to an end because of the "Y2K Bug". The Space Needle's observation deck started spinning out of control, and then flew away like a flying saucer.[2]
The Itchy & Scratchy cartoon "Skinless in Seattle" was set at the Space Needle.[3]
When Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie headed for Springfield to save it from being turned into the "New Grand Canyon", they took a train which stopped in Seattle, where they were apprehended. The Needle was visible in the background on the city's skyline.[4]
