The 77X42 (pronounced "Seven Seven X Four Two") is an extremely sour lemon ball.
Professor Frink shows the 77X42 at the Springfield Candy Convention. It is so sour, he says, that it can only be safely contained in a magnetic field. Frink then points at the 77X42 suspended in midair by the magnetic field. Frink's warning, however, doesn't deter Homer, who reaches into the field, grabs the 77X42, and eats it without hesitation.
Moments later, Frink notices that the 77X42 is missing and asks what happens to it. Homer, with his face grossly distorted due to the sourball's tartness, mumbles, "I don't know."
