June Bellamy is a seasoned voice actress who has provided the voices of Itchy and Scratchy on The Itchy and Scratchy Show since the show's inception. Her lengthy resume also includes the voice of the Roadrunner in the Looney Tunes cartoons, though she claims she only recorded one "meep" which the studio then duplicated as a cost-saving measure.
Bellamy quickly befriends Homer when he's cast as the voice of Poochie, and appreciates his help in dealing with geeky fans at conventions. When Homer's livelihood is threatened, June stands up to the producers, saying that if he goes, she goes. Her help is not enough to save Poochie, however.
