Hip Punishments is a parenting magazine.

Description

Hip Punishments tells how to discipline 21st-century children by handing down punishments designed specifically for them. The cover of an issue that Marge bought shows a woman about to destroy a boy's iPod by dropping it into a blender.

History

When Marge found out that Bart was responsible for the circumstances that led to her and Homer splitting up, she threatened to erase the saved games on his PlayStation. Bart was shocked at the threat and asked how she even knew about things like PlayStations, and Marge showed him an issue of Hip Punishments. Bart was unmoved and refused to admit what he had done. However, when Marge followed up by threatening to delete the ringtones from his cellphone, Bart fessed up.
