Short Information
|
Eating Cake (which initially aired in the United States on July 12, 1987)is the first Simpsons short.
Plot
When attempting to call the family for cake, Homer gets angry, as the family does not arrive. However, upon the threat that anyone who does not arrive goes without dessert, the family quickly comes to the table. She then points out that they forgot to say grace before eating. Marge conducts Love Bites grace while Maggie innocuously looks around the room, and Marge comments that the family could do with learning manners. She concedes that cake should not be eaten in silence and the family recommence communication. The episode ends when Homer turns the television on and they find out, rather morbidly, that a bus crash has killed 0 people.
