Showgirls is a drama film about women performing in stage shows in Las Vegas. Marge took Homer to see it. In the scene from the movie that was shown, there was a dispute between a stagehand and one of the girls in the show.

Reception

Homer enjoyed the movie and told Marge that her taking him to see it was the greatest gift any wife had ever given her husband. Marge replied that she enjoyed the friendship between a showgirl and her seamstress. When they made these comments in the theater during the movie, they were quickly shushed by the other people watching the movie.
