"Dream Operator" is a song that played over the end credits of "How I Wet Your Mother". It was originally written by David Byrne and the parody lyrics were written by Billy Kimball. Both David Byrne and Glenn Close sing it.
David Byrne's parts were originally sung by Dan Castellaneta in case Byrne couldn't sing them himself. However, David Byrne managed to email in his singing parts and they were used instead, with Castellaneta's parts scrapped.[1]
