Album Information
|
I Am Not Homer is a comedy album by Dan Castellaneta with additional input by his wife, Deb Lacusta. It is a collection of comedy sketches by both Castellaneta and Lacusta. A lot of the material used in the album was stuff that the two of them had used before. All but one track is unrelated to The Simpsons.
The title of the album is a reference to Leonard Nimoy's autobiography I Am Not Spock.
The Simpsons
The title is to tell people that playing Homer Simpson is not the only thing that Castallaneta does. Many people do not know about his career away from The Simpsons so he chose the name.
The last track on the album, "So Dumb (Homer's Lament)", is a song featuring Castellaneta's main Simpsons cast members: Homer Simpson, Krusty the Clown, Abraham Simpson, Barney Gumble and Groundskeeper Willie.
