Ted Danson is an American actor best known for his role as central character Sam Malone in the sitcom Cheers, and his role as Dr. John Becker on the series Becker. He took up the role of Sam Malone again in the episode "Fear of Flying".
Ted Danson was voted joint 20th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Appearances" along with Cheers co-stars Woody Harrelson, Rhea Perlman, George Wendt and John Ratzenburger.
