Sir Elton Hercules John (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight) is an English singer-songwriter, composer and pianist.

John is one of the most successful music artists of all time, having sold 250 million records and produced 30 albums over a career spanning four decades. His songs include "Candle in the Wind" and "Your Song," while his song "Candle in the Wind 1997" (a tribute to Princess Diana) is the best selling single of all time, having sold over 37 million copies.

On The Simpsons, John appeared as himself in the episode "I'm With Cupid." He sang a slightly modified version of "Your Song" as a Valentine's Day gift from Apu to Manjula.
