Trivia
- Despite Homer being very against the booting, a very similar looking boot struck Bart in the butt in "Burns' Heir". That time Homer found it hilarious.
- The segment involving Hitler refers to a conspiracy theory that he survived World War 2 and escaped to South America.
- At one point Bart says, "Hey, I think I hear a dingo eating your baby". This is a joke about the Azaria Chamberlain disappearance.
- "That's not a knife: This is a knife!" is a famous line from Crocodile Dundee.
- While The Simpsons is prone to some errors simply for comic effect, in this particular episode, the supposed scientific knowledge of drains flowing differently in the Southern Hemisphere is actually a myth.
