History

Manjula Nahasapeemapetilon orders Apu to get a cartoon in the New Yorker, referencing the fact that it's notoriously difficult to get your work into the most well known cartoon magazine in the world. He succeeds, though. In the same issue of the magazine, there is a photo shoot by Richard Avedon of Lenny which Homer claims to have bought it for.[1]
