The Ramones were an American punk rock band, considered by many to be the fathers of punk rock music. They voiced themselves and sung "Happy Birthday, Mr. Burns" in the season 5 episode "Rosebud".
The Ramones were voted 15th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Stars".
