Comic Information
|
Burnsie's Pals 'n' Gals was a comic book from Bongo Comics, presented in The Bongos That Time Forgot.
History[edit]
Several years ago, Bongo attempted to center the lucrative teen comic market with a book of their own. The board of directors instead that only established characters be used, but unfortunately the only ones that were not featured in the book of their own at the time were Mr. Burns, Waylon Smithers, Jr., Barney Gumble, and Patty and Selma Bouvier. Thus, Burnsie's Pals 'n' Gals was born. Who could resist the comic misadventures of an old rich misanthrope forced to return to high school? Who could say no to a sycophantic today, two mannish sisters, and an overweight hamburger addict with a gastric disorder? Well, pretty much every man, woman, and child in America. It was the first book in comic history to have more copies returned than ordered.
