[[Marge]] is painting a picture of Homer's underwear when [[Homer]] yells for help. Marge is busy, but after a while she goes to Homer, but she is too late. Homer has completed the elusive fifth position in the hammock, and he wanted her to take a picture of it for ''[[Hammock World Monthly]]''. Marge tells Homer that she was busy painting, and the two begin to fight. Marge throws her painting in the garbage but [[Bart]] and [[Lisa]] pick it up when a business man comes along and buys the painting from them for $500. Lisa doesn't want to sell the painting, but Bart persuades her to do it. Lisa wants to spend the money on Marge. Bart and Lisa are watching TV when they see a commercial for a romantic hotel which also has artistic self-expression classes for ladies and a well-stocked sports bar for men. Bart and Lisa book one weekend at the hotel for Marge and Homer and get them to think they won the visit, and arrange for [[Grampa]] to babysit.

Lisa then asks what will happen to her painting career, her single-woman show, she responds that she is not worried, she is the woman her family need most.
