Book Information
|
Simply Unevictable: A Tenant's Guide is a book about how tenants can prevent, or at least delay, being evicted from rental housing.
History[edit]
After Ned bought 742 Evergreen Terrace, and the Simspons fell behind on the rent, Homer cited a tip from the book to help them keep the house: specifically, that the "evictee will be granted a stay of eviction if said household includes a resident aged 65 or over". Then, acting on the tip, he moved Grampa from Springfield Retirement Castle to live in the house with the family.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The book's title is a wordplay on the 1988 song "Simply Irresistible" by Robert Palmer.
