History[edit]
When Homer Simpson was very near death, an unnamed employee introduced him to the Butt-Whisperer 9000. Homer couldn't afford it, though, as it cost $300 a month, so the employee suggested he should buy it for $10 a day (almost the same amount). After Homer bought it, he picked up the package, but it fell on him. Later at home, Homer was jogging on the machine when Lisa came down, saying the television on the Butt-Whisperer 9000 is connected to the internet and would allow him to watch old television shows. Homer flicked through the programs and in the end chose Stranded. Lisa told him it was a show that went off the air five years prior and Homer soon got addicted to it.
