Comic Information
|
Ned Flanders' Summer Baptism Special was the only released comic book in Bongo Comics's Faith is Fun! series, presented in The Bongos That Time Forgot.
History[edit]
The "Faith is Fun!" series was launched by Bongo in an effort to capitalize on the success of the immensely popular children's program Davey and Goliath. Unfortunately, the Ned Flanders Summer Baptism Special came in last among the top 200 comics of the month, well below Monsignor Manatee, Holy Man of The Deep from Crucible Comics. The great part of the market for comics with a religious subject was eventually taken over by Monsignor Manatee, putting a stop to Bongo's experimentation with it.
