When a pickpocket thief was on the loose in [[Springfield]], Lenora Carter was called in to help catch the thief. Upon arriving at the [[Springfield Police Station]], Carter put [[Chief Wiggum]] on the sidelines and called Wiggum the worst police officer she had ever had the pleasure of humiliating in front of his men. She then took over the investigation. She decided that they needed someone with a big ass to lure the pickpocket in. At that point, [[Homer]] came into the police station, which his ass stuck in a public bench, which prompted Lenora to choose him.

McGrew then mistook the stovepipe oven for a pregnant woman and tried to listen to the baby's heartbeat, putting his head into the oven. Later, McGrew was visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, who told him he was so selfish that his fiancée was about to leave him. McGrew said he didn't need love because he had money.

He walked around town hoping to get his wallet with a tracker in stolen and it eventually happened on the subway. Lenora tracked the wallet to an abandoned warehouse where they arrested [[Fat Tony]] as there was a pile of wallets there. However, Chief Wiggum believed Fat Tony was innocent...
