It's Christmas Eve and Homer sitting and playing a game where he sees an offer to spend 99 credits for a Reindeer protector. Homer buys 20 of them and discovers later that it cost real money and he can not afford to buy Christmas presents for the family anymore. Homer thinking how Bart and Lisa has afford to Christmas gifts and he remember that they are doing their presents by themselves so Homer starts making his own Christmas presents in the basement. On the morning discovering the family that Homer made Christmas presents for them and has not purchased any. Bart gets a bad Krusty the Clown robot and Lisa get all her favorite books toghter into one. Maggie gets a carousel and Marge gets a new sexy outfit. The children are angry at Homer for his gifts stinks but Marge reminds them that the thought that counts. Homer is about to leaving the home when he discovers that they have been snowed in. The power goes and they sit and bask in front the only yule log they had that will soon burn out. Homer then comes up with an idea and makes about the presents he made a machine that can dig out the family. It working and family come out and they are delighted to Homer and thanks him. Plot
