Jeffrey Allen Townes (born January 22, 1965), better known as DJ Jazzy Jeff, is an American actor, hip hop and R&B disc jockey, record producer, and turntablist. He worked as producer, drum programmer, keyboardist and a disk jockey on "Deep, Deep Trouble", a song he co-wrote with Matt Groening for The Simpsons Sing the Blues.
