David Roger Johansen (born January 9, 1950), also known and credited as Buster Poindexter, is an American actor, blues, pop, protopunk singer-songwriter of Irish and Norwegian, best known for being a member of the New York Dolls. He sung the song "School Day" for The Simpsons Sing the Blues.
