- [In the computer room at Springfield Elementary School, several students are seated at computer workstations. Among them is Bart, who looks bored and is staring into space. Mrs. Krabappel excuses herself from the room.]
- Mrs. Krabappel: Okay, class, keep researching your South America projects. I'll be back in a few minutes.
- [Her announcement elicits several replies of "Yes, Mrs. Krabappel" from the students, but Bart sits in silence. Mrs. Krabappel has almost left the room when she steps back in through the doorway.]
- Mrs. Krabappel: [sharply] And that goes for you, too, Bart!
- [Bart groans. Mrs. Krabappel leaves.]
- [After Mrs. Krabappel leaves, Bart smacks the side of his monitor.]
- Bart: South America is muy boring! How come I can't surf to any cool sites?
- Martin: [at the computer next to Bart] The computers have parental locks that restrict our access to certain sites.
- Bart: I'll bet you could get me to ... [He whispers some website names to Martin.]
- Martin: I could indeed, but you're well aware that those are forbidden sites!
- Bart: I'll give you my lunch! [holds the bag up]
- Martin: [quickly] Done!
- [With the deal made, Martin gets to work on hacking through the parental lock, tapping away at the keyboard. The other students gather behind him to watch.]
- Martin: This is giving my computer skills a vigorous workout!
- Bart: Less talk, more workout!
- Martin: [still working, concentrating intently] Almost there ...
- [Martin succeeds.]
- Martin: [triumphant, cracking his knuckles] We're in!
- Bart: All right, Brainiac!
- [The other students' reactions are considerably different. They scream in disgust, cover their eyes, and turn away from the screen. Wendell looks like he's about to be sick. Bart, however, is uncaring, and sits down at the computer and laughs as an animation from the Itchy & Scratchy Official Homepage plays on the screen.]
