Bart of the Jungle is the forty forth short of the animated television series, The Simpsons. The episode aired on The Tracey Ullman Show on April 16, 1989.

Plot

Behaving dysfunctional as ever, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are placed outside, as they kept on irritating Homer. Using Homer's ties, they quickly decide to behave as if they were in a jungle. When Homer notices his ties have gone missing, he sets out to find the children, and retrieve his ties. The children then swing away using tied-together ties as vines, all the while Homer gives chase, until he is caught by a tie set as a makeshift trap, making him dangle upside down. Upon demanding his release, Lisa warns Homer that they will kill him after doing so. The children ultimately decide to leave him hanging until later on.
