The Haunt of Frightfulness was a comic book from Bongo Comics Group, presented in The Bongos That Time Forgot.
History
The Haunt of Frightfulness was Bongo's first foray into the horror genre. Terror, mayhem and dread covered every panel. A senate subcommittee, however, found a scene depicting Patty and Selma using depilatory cream to remove unwanted facial hair to be so disturbing that they went on the pass a bill halting publication of the series and mandating counselling for all children and adults who may have come into contact with the issue.
