Contributors to Wikisimpsons have flags which are given to do different tasks. These are given to your account. Some are given automatically, and others must be given manually. The privileges of each user group are shown here.

Users

Anonymous users

All visitors to the site are potential editors who have not created an account. These editors, and some editors who have created an account but are not logged in, may read all Wikisimpsons pages pages (except special pages used by administrators) and edit pages which aren't protected.

Registered users

These are users who have created an account recently. They can do everything an anonymous user can do, as well as moving pages, uploading images and marking edits as minor.

Autoconfirmed users

These are users who have an account and have been on Wikisimpsons for at least a week and have made at least 10 edits. They can do everything a registered user can do as well as edit semi-protected pages.

Rollback

Main article: Wikisimpsons:Rollback

Rollbacks are users who have more powers than the average user. They can revert a series of edits in one click. They can also rename images and mark edits as patrolled.

Administrators

Administrators are users who have proved themselves to be a very reliable editor of the wiki and have worked their way up to become an administrator. They are usually the most reliable members of the community and can be contacted with queries. They have the power to delete pages if they are spam/vandalism and block users if they have vandalized on the wiki at all. Administrators can also edit the pages that make up the wiki, such as the sidebar, site notice and the coding for the looks of the wiki too.

Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats are users who, as well as having admin rights, can change user rights.

Other Rights

Bots

Bots are a piece of software to make changes automatically to a wiki. Bots can be created by users to perform large automated changes to the wiki without filling up the recent changes table.

Server Manager

Server Managers are users who manage the servers on the wiki. They can bypass IP blocks, auto-blocks and range blocks, edit all user rights and lock and unlock the database.

Autopatrolled

Autopatrolled are users who can have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled.

Patrollers

Patrollers are users who can patrol pages.


Trusted users
