He disrupted things by smashing a glass so was beaten up and thrown out. He later returned to steal a beer keg in revenge. The name is a play on the term "Pop a Wheelie" which means to do a Wheelie, in which the driver lifts the the front wheel(or wheeles in the case of cars) in the air and drives on the back one.
