Butterfingeritis is a Butterfinger commercial that aired in 2000 despite the short having a 2001 copyright date. Here Bart first said the new slogan, "Nothin' Like A Butterfinger!".
Plot[edit]
Based on unique activity in Bart's brain's pleasure lobe, Dr. Hibbert realizes that Bart has a disease called "Butterfingeritis." When Homer asks for a cure for the disease, the doctor tells him there is none. Bart, amazed by the news, says, "Crispety, crunchity, peanut buttery! Nothin' like a Butterfinger!". The announcer says, "From Nestle." Homer then tries to steal Bart's uneaten Butterfinger. However, he fails. The commercial ends with Homer asking why Bart gets all the good diseases.
