Inside his home Ringo Starr was surrounded by sacks labeled in various languages pf unopened mail. Ringo explained to his butler Wetherby how he insisted on replying to every single piece of fan mail. Among the letters is Marge's painting of him she made in high school. Ringo Starr wrote back to Marge thanking her and the appreciated her artist talent so much he had the painting hung on his wall in the library.

The exterior is based on Castle Howard in Yorkshire, used in the TV miniseries Brideshead Revisited starring Jeremy Irons.
