O Pruny Night is a song sung by the California Prunes in the episode 'Tis the Fifteenth Season. The song is a parody of the traditional Christmas carol "O Holy Night," while the California Prunes are a parody of the California Raisins created by Will Vinton. The parody lyrics were written by Michael Price. It is the twenty-second track of the album The Simpsons: Testify.
Lyrics
- Announcer:
- And now we return to the 1986 holiday classic, Christmas with the California Prunes.
- Lead Prune Singer:
- Yeah, yeah,
- O pruny night,
- The stars are sweetly wrinkled,
- We are the fruit
- That your grandmother loves.
- Yeah.
- Lisa:
- This is offensive to Christians and prunes.
