Lisa's class is on a field trip to Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Lisa sneaks away to clean up Homer's workstation because she doesn't want her classmates to see how dirty it is. Lisa is just finishing up when her class enters the room with Mr. Burns and Smithers in the wake. Mr. Burns likes how clean and organized Homer's workspace is and asks Homer to come into his office tomorrow so can they discuss his future. The next day Burns has a meeting with Homer, saying that he has watched his employee records and it was not what he excpected but he is interested in the future, not in the past.
