Fish Story is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story first printed in Li'l Homer #1.
Plot[edit]
Once when Homer was a kid, he went fishing for dinner. While he was waiting to get a bite, he thought he might accidentally set fire to the house while frying the fish. After a while he got a bite but it was only a boot, but Homer didn't give up. He continued to fish, and caught a shopping cart. Homer became a bit angry but he tried again, and this time he got a bigger bite: a shopping cart filled with boots. His reaction: "D'oh!".
