One of the employees sells cable and other products (such as stolen car stereos) illegally to customers. He hooked up cable free and illegally for Homer, after trying to hook up cable illegally for Ned and charge $50; Ned wanted the Arts & Crafts Channel.
While Homer initially had second thoughts about stealing cable, he changed his mind after the employee handed him an informational pamphlet.
